Cold and Flu

Children as more susceptible catching the cold or flu than adults, but the symptoms are the same—itching or sore throat, sneezing, nasal congestion, watery eyes, body aches, fevers, and mucus drainage. While most colds and flu viruses are self-limited and last 7-10 days, sometimes the viral infection can lead to bacterial infections in your lungs, sinuses, or ears, which require medical treatment such as antibiotics, anti-inflammitories, or prescription-strength medicine.
